… Recently, I was asked to portray Nicodemus for our Wednesday after-school program called JAM (Jesus And Me). This program is open to all children from kindergarten to sixth grade. Only begun this year, JAM is a breath of fresh air for ministry at the Ness City Methodist Church. It has been a privilege to work with this delightful program.

Not having access to an extensive wardrobe of character costumes, I thought of my clergy robe for this portrayal. In my mind, I often think of bath robes being a typical costume for a church reenactment of a Bible story. But for this role, I thought a clergy robe would be better suited.
